Developing new controls for feedwater steam pumps:

Former development:
Years ago, I developed a valve control for steam pumps. The structure was rather simple and its starting and running behaviour was reliable when it was used for delivering water, but some of its parts were too small to be manufactured by regular manufacturers in small size, and there was no cushioning at the end of each travel especially in large size.

Recent development:
Now I am developing a very much simplified version of an old US valve control, at first in a small model size. Its structure is even more simple than that before, and I am optimistic that it will work and that there will be a rather simple possibility for also making it available as a compressor (instead of only boiler feed pumps) in medium and large sizes some time if there is enough interest.

Developing new controls for air compressing steam pumps:

Former findings:
From my former feedwater steam pump development, I found a solution for using this control also for air compressing steam pumps. Its function is not proven practically yet, but I am sure that it will work in most sizes except for very small model size, based on my experience from former troubleshooting on this kind of control.

Recent perspectives:
It seems very likely that this solution will also work in the currently prepared very much simplified version of an old US valve control, without worsening the other properties of this control like cushioning at the end of each piston travel.

Steam Pump Controls for compressor application in small model size

     
Special case:

At the moment we do not have a solution for very small model sized air compressing steam pumps which is practically proven or at least theoretically analyzed deeply for function.

If you need such a solution in the near future, you can sign an NDA and test and (if working) use our then proposed geometric structure for your own needs, anything else has to be negotiated and be fixed in written form.
